Olde English Bulldogge

  • Head – large, slightly sunken between the eyes. The height of the head should be no less than shoulder height.

  • Ears – Rose, Dropped ears

​

  • Muzzle – Wrinkled, short & deep. Jaw turned up and noticeable with an undershot bite. Disqualification – Overbite & wry jaw

​

  • Eyes – Wide apart

​

  • Nose – Open & wide

​

  • Neck – Muscular and stops at the shoulder

​

  • Chest – Ribs should be rounded, chest wide and deep

​

  • Back – Wide and square, slight rise from shoulder to croup. Back can be straight, long as long as tail is not carried high

​

  • Tail – Carried low and not over the back

Shoulders – should be laid back with strong angulation to allow good movement

​

  • Legs – front legs far apart; Big bone. Rear legs

 

  • Feet – tight (cat like), strong pasterns, not flat

​

Movement – Balanced gait, powerful strides

​

  • Coat color – all is acceptable

​

  • Height – Dog/Male: 17”-21”               Bitch/Female: 16” – 19"

​

  • Faults – Crabbing, narrow head, pricked ears, crossed eyes, bulging (bugged) eyes, almond eyes, no pigment, scissor bite, long muzzle, narrow chest, small bone, wavy and long coat.
